Directed by Luca Guadagnino, WE ARE WHO WE ARE is a celebration of self. A multi-tiered collaboration across the board.
I reached out to Caleb Flowers of BIG DATA (TM) to create a 2GB digital zip file, packaged into a physical USB, as the foundation for our project. This zine-like curation, filled with original imagery, MP3s, videos, hyperlinks, and books features contributions from the series’ talent alongside contemporary creators. The USB was distributed for free via a microsite as part of a seeding campaign.
We partnered with NYC fashion house Eckhaus Latta to produce a limited-edition Lapped Tee, printed with their reflections on self-identity. The shirt served as a canvas for five artists—Jan Gatewood, Nathalie Nguyen, Left Hand LA, Rian Phin, and Nicole McLaughlin—to express their own interpretations of identity through unique designs.
In collaboration with NTS Radio, we produced a five-episode coming-of-age radio series. Each episode spotlights a cast or crew member from the show, exploring themes and drawing parallels between their characters and real-life experiences. Highlights include an interview with music supervisor Robin Urdang and Chloë Sevigny reading fan-submitted love stories.
